Job Overview: The SFOH is responsible of performing a receptionist task on top of serving a MOD (Manager on Duty role)while opening or closing the club (6 am till 9am and 9pm till 11pm) where the MOD is not present in the club. As a FOH staff, the SFOH responsible of creating a positive impression about Fitness Zone, he/she works within a small team environment, to maintain a smooth daily operations of the Front Desk, including assistance in membership sales when needed. And also responsible for reaching monthly targets of defaulters.
Job Description
Responsibilities: Open or close Fitness Zone Serve MOD role while the MOD is not present, making sure he/she reports to the MOD any extra ordinary case, or any case that requires immediate and special attention Ensure that the club opens on time, and that all the team and the club is ready to welcome members Ensure that the club closes on time, and no member is late or left behind To be knowledgeable in all aspects of the club operations, e.g. FZ Club rules and regulations, class timetables, promotions, club events To be fully knowledgeable on the Aphelion/member data management system Responsible for the smooth daily operations of the Front Desk Responsible for maintaining constant open lines of communications with the FOHM on all club responsibilities and activities, and to the CGM/Manager on Duty in the absence of the FOHM Responsible for working the scheduled hours and reporting to work on time Responsible for reporting to work in full clean uniformed and groomed according to company guidelines Ensure all members and visitors are greeted in a friendly manner and names are used where possible To answer all incoming calls according to company standards and further the enquiry where needed Maintain cleanliness of the Front desk at all times, ensure the desk is well stocked at all times Ensure the desk is covered at all times Ensure all non members and visitors to the club sign the guest register Record integrally the number of attendants in every Group class To assist member with various services such as Lost and Found property and queries, update of particulars, new membership cards, general enquiries, club announcements, GX class registrations, Guest passes To conduct monthly service calls pertaining to membership dues collection Ensure all cancellation and freezing requests are directed to the FOHM/Administrator immediately, or logged down to follow up where not available Handle and take ownership of guest comments and complaints in a professional and timely manner and coordinate with the FOHM to find a solution To assist in administering new membership sales in the system accurately Perform the necessary cashiering duties- accountable for all transactions during your shift, responsible or ensuring all membership dues and payments are correctly entered into the system, responsible for all cash and bills and checks in the cash register during your shift, perform a safe drop at the end of each shift with a witness Accurately cashing up at the end of your shift and conduct through handover to next shift Ensure all necessary documents are sent to the Administrator at the end of each shift or as and when necessary, for updating or dispatch to HO Attend regular meetings as conducted by the FOHM Always be on call to cover sickness and emergencies Perform any other duties as assigned by the FOHM Reports directly to the Front of House Manager (FOHM) Key Relations: Members FOHM All the team Person Specifications: Courteous Friendly, energetic and cheerful while maintaining professional attitude Able to multitask Able to stand for long hours Willing to cover extra hours when requested Excellent communication skills Proficient in speaking English High devotion to customer service Organized
